Y'all, we almost postponed the release of this newsletter. Seemed in poor taste to discuss something so serious in the wake of the joy we experienced against NYCFC last night, but alas. The news doesn't stop and neither do we.

Columbus Crew boast a popular mascot duo: Crew Cat and Crew SC. The feline father-and-son team energize the Lower Dot Com Field sidelines, but their existence also raises a critical question.
If Crew SC is Crew Cat’s son, where is Crew Cat’s baby mama, Ms. Crew Cat. And why has the matriarch of this furry family been seemingly hidden from the public?
Where in the world is Ms. Crew Cat?
We want answers. Our relentless pursuit of the truth led us to a dead end at the Crew's marketing department.
Their tight-lipped response?
“We don’t comment on mascot personal lives.”
Yeah, right. If only they had responded. Alas, they didn’t. They ghosted us, casting further shadows over this whiskery mystery.
In the absence of clarity, we are left with no choice but to speculate.
